The Welfare of Animals Used in Research: Practice and Ethics gives a complete and balanced overview of the issues surrounding the use of animals in scientific research. This book is a useful introduction to those who intend to work in research involving animals, to prospective animal care staff, to animal welfare scientists, and to those involved in ethical review.

The winner of this award will receive a £1000 cheque and a framed award certificate.
