UFAW and HSA Research Director, Dr Birte Nielsen, Appointed Visiting Professor at the University of Edinburgh

UFAW LINK Scheme supports animal welfare awareness activities at Makerere University, Uganda

As part of the UFAW LINK scheme, the Animal Welfare Club at Makerere University has successfully launched several initiatives to raise awareness of animal welfare among students, with the aim of improving animal welfare practices in Uganda.

The Universities Federation for Animal Welfare (UFAW) has announced its 2024 award winners. The recipients will be presented with their awards, and speak about their work, at the UFAW International Animal Welfare Conference taking place in Porto, Portugal, on 10 – 11 July 2024.
