The deadline for receiving abstracts for the 2021 conference – Recent advances in animal welfare science VIII has now passed but we have been delighted with the response. Conference organiser Dr Stephen Wickens said: “We have received a very large number of abstracts from all over the world, including Pakistan, Iran, Russia, Lithuania, Albania and the Americas. This shows the extraordinary breadth of the international animal welfare science community and that the importance of science in elucidating and tackling animal welfare problems is increasingly recognised.”
We would like to thank everyone who has submitted an abstract - a judging panel will now begin to review these and we plan to notify contributors of the outcome from the 8th of March onwards.
Save the date: Recent advances in animal welfare science VIII will be a free to attend online event, held on 29-30th June 2021.
