Supporting animal welfare in Israel

The UFAW SAWI Fund is dedicated to improving the welfare of animals in Israel and was established in 2003 when the Society for Animal Welfare in Israel was brought under UFAW’s wing in line with the wishes of SAWI’s founder, the late Miss Marguerite Silverman.  You can find out more about the first completed project, which looks at the welfare of dairy cattle, here
